Because we operate both a physical training academy and an online e-commerce storefront at skusa.in, our cancellation, return, and refund rules are structured separately for classes and physical merchandise. Please review the specific rules below.

1. E-COMMERCE STORE RETURNS (GEAR & UNIFORMS)

1.1 Return & Exchange Window

 
  • We offer a 7-day return and exchange policy for physical products purchased from our online shop.
  • This window begins on the day your shipment is marked as delivered by our third-party logistics courier.

1.2 Eligibility Requirements for Returns

To qualify for a return, replacement, or a refund, items must fulfill the following criteria:
 
  • Unused Condition: Products must be completely unworn, unwashed, and clean.
  • Original Packaging: Items must be in their original packaging with all tags, labels, and product seals intact.
  • Hygiene Restrictions: Due to safety regulations, personal gear like Shin Guards, Head Guards, Chest Guards, and Kumite Gloves cannot be returned if they show any signs of sweat, chalk, usage, or dojo dirt.

1.3 Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

 
  • We carefully inspect all products before dispatch. However, if you receive a damaged product, manufacturing defect, or an incorrect order variant (wrong size/color), please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Send an email or contact us through our website with your order details and clear photograph or video proof of the defect. We will issue a free replacement or complete refund upon verification.

2. ACADEMY TUITION & FEE REFUNDS

2.1 Free Trial Sessions

 
  • S.K.U.S.A offers a free trial class to all prospective students to experience our training quality before financial commitment.

2.2 Admission Fees & Monthly Tuition

 
  • All Admission Fees, Registration Fees, and Monthly Tuition Fees paid for Traditional Karate Classes, Sports Karate Classes, or Self-defense Classes are strictly non-refundable.
  • Once a student pays tuition, resources, insurance allocations, and dojo space are secured for that term.
  • Absence from scheduled classes does not entitle the student to a partial refund or rollover credits to the following month, unless explicitly arranged due to medical emergencies.

2.3 Belt Examinations & Certifications

 
  • Fees paid for uniform belt promotion testing, evaluation, and government-approved certificates are non-refundable once the test dates are finalized or the certificate has been processed.

3. CANCELLATION POLICIES

3.1 Order Cancellations (Store)

 
  • You can request to cancel your product order at no cost before the package is dispatched from our facility.
  • Once the package is picked up by our courier partners, the shipment cannot be cancelled. You must instead receive the item and follow the standard return process.

3.2 Program Withdrawal (Academy)

 
  • Students wishing to halt monthly training must notify the Academy administration at least 7 days prior to the start of the next billing month to prevent recurring invoice generations.

4. REFUND PROCESSING

 
  • Method: Approved storefront refunds are processed back directly to the original payment method used during checkout (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net Banking, or Wallet).
  • Timeline: Once we receive and inspect your returned merchandise, we will send an email confirming its status. If your refund is approved, it will be credited within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank’s processing windows.
  • Shipping Fees: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you return an item due to a personal change of preference, you are responsible for paying your own return shipping fees.
